Pilot : Candidates retentive Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going) with digit assemblage undergo as a MasterlChief Officer.

Marine Engineer: Candidates retentive Certificate of Competency as 1st Class Engineer (Motor) or (Steam & Motor) with digit assemblage undergo as Chief Engineer.

Marine Officer: Ex-MbPT Berthing Officers retentive Certificate of Competency as Master (Home Trade).

The designation can be on regular foundation or on lessen basis.
Reservation is 2 for SC, 2 for ST and 4 for OBC (all backlog) in place of Pilot and 2 for SC, I for ST and 4 for OBC (all backlog) in place of serviceman Engineer and applies for designation on regular basis. In housing of serviceman Officer, the designation will be purely on lessen basis.
