Applications are solicited from mateless male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro Cadre) of the Indian Navy for Jan 2012 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Eligibility Conditions
- Age : 19 ½ to 25 years, born between 02 Jan 1987 and 01 Jul 1992 both dates inclusive.
- Qualification : (a) Science Graduate with Physics & Mathematics with peak 60% marks from a constituted University. (b) BE/B Tech with peak 60% marks in aggregative in some develop from an hospital constituted by AICTE. (c) Science Graduates (Physics & Mathematics) from a constituted University holding NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division ‘C’ certificate. (d) Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/Quantitative Methods with peak 75% marks from constituted University. (e) Graduate/Post Graduate in Mathematics, with Probability or Statistics with peak 75% marks from a constituted University
- Pysical Standards : (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight. (b) Eye Sight. The peak unexceptionable exteroception standard for extreme exteroception 6/12, 6/12 corrigible to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind. (c) There will be no relaxation in fleshly standards
